Nyaldean Elizabeth Fisher

Nyaldean Elizabeth "Pud" Fisher 81 of Ripley passed away March 10, 2014 at Jackson General Hospital following a long illness. She was born February 5, 1933 at Sissonville a daughter of the late W. Harry and Kathleen Newhouse Sisson. She retired from Ripley Elementary School Where she was the Supervisor of the Cafeteria. Following that she was employed at Eldercare of Ripley as the Dietary manager with over 20 years of service. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Family was the most important thing to her and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry W. Fisher and a brother Hershel "Tater' Sisson. She is survived by daughters Angela Price and her husband Rod of Clarksburg and Brenda Nuckols and her husband John of Aylett, VA; Grandchildren Nathan Price, Shelly Conley , Amy Knopp, Sara Nuckols, Victoria Nuckols and John "J.T." Nuckols; great grandchildren Hannah Price, Brady Price, JoLynn Conley, Kaitlyn Knopp, Owyn Conley and Austin Addison; brothers Oral Sisson of Charleston and Stanley Sisson of St. Albans. Funeral Service will be 2 pm Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery near Ripley. Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation in Nyaldean's memory to Calvary United Methodist Church.
