Oda Marie Casto

Oda Marie Casto, 90 of Ripley passed away September 16, 2015 at Ravenswood Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. She was born September 14, 1925 at Young Hollow, Jackson County, a daughter of the late William Russel and Pearley Maddox Harrison. She retired from Cedar Lakes Conference Center after 22 years of service and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Ripley. Marie was the leader of the Tug Fork Willing Workers 4-H Club for eight years In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wendell O. Casto and brothers Warren and Charles Harrison. Marie is survived by two sons, Bill Casto DVM and Joe Wendell Casto; grandchildren MarkCasto, Katie (Brian) Franklin, Ann Marie (Justin) Knopp, Caleb Casto and Jake Casto all of Ripley; two great grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Knopp; sister Orvalee Wines of Ripley. Funeral Service will be 4:30 pm Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor David Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Grasslick Baptist Cemetery, Kenna.
