Odey L. Bodkin

Odey L. Bodkin, 74, of Kenna, WV died on December 17, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness. He was retired after 40 years of service from Don's Disposal Service. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Barbara L. Bodkin; Parents Roy and Ethel Taylor Botkin of Mile Fork and sisters Mildred Botkin, Nora Jones, Janetta Pauley and Mary Lawrence. He is survived by sister Rosetta Vanhoosier of Virginia; daughter Teresa(Gary) Parsons of Kenna; Sons Ron(Pam) Bodkin of Culloden, Charles (Danielle) Bodkin of Elkview, David (Joyce) Bodkin of Florida; He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In honoring Odey's wishes he will be cremated with with no further services. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311. Waybright Funeral Home is serving the Bodkin family.
