Okey A. Boggess

Okey A. Boggess, 88 of Kenna, WV Born May 5, 1925 and went home to be with the Lord our Savior April 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mally and Gervis Boggess, and his grandparents Vonnie and Mary Ellen Boggess. He is survived by his two sons Billy and Bobby Boggess, his brother Paul Boggess, his sister Mary Lou Thomas, his grandchildren Matthew Boggess, Casey Boggess (wife Ariel), Nathan Boggess, Bobbi Ferrell (husband Allen), and Summer Samples (husband Adam), great grandchildren Wyatt Boggess, Colby Ferrell, Carson Boggess, Lacey Ferrell, Gracie Samples, Walker Boggess, William Boggess, and Ally Samples, and many more loved ones. Okey was a "good ole boy from Rocky Fork." He served in the military and fought in WWII. He was a member of the S. Charleston Masonic Lodge, Lodge 168. He was a successful business man and worked very hard. He loved his family very much and worried about them all the time. He will be missed greatly. Rest In Peace PaPa. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Al Mendez officiating. Burial with Military Rites by American Legion Post 107, Ripley will be in the Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home.
