Oley E. Myers

Oley Edman Myers, 74, of Sandyville passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family following an short illness. He was born December 14, 1945 in Jackson County, a son of the late Oley Hoyt and Evelyn Richard Myers. Oley was a brick mason by trade who enjoyed tinkering on anything that needed fixed including cars and saws. He also enjoyed collecting models. He is survived by his companion of 45 years, Linda Richards; daughters Tammy Lowe and Melinda Harper; brothers Danny Myers, Bobby Myers, and Delmer Myers; sisters Jo Ann Hughes(Oris), Della Hammond, Janet Myers, Thelma Myers Rosetta Myers, and Betty Brown; Grandchildren Austin Lowe, Miranda Harper, Brandon Harper, Shayla Lowe, and Hailey Harper. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Gene Myers and sisters Faye Miller and Kathy Parsons.
