Orbie Casto

Orbie Mae Casto, age 88, of East Sparta, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday January 20, 2026. She was born in Harmony, WV to the late Alva and Mary (Westfall) Lupardus.

Orbie spent her career working in the grocery store and was a member of the local meat cutters union. She retired from 30th Street Giant Eagle. She had many interests, some of them being gardening, yard sales and garage sales. She loved going to Kiko Auctions with her family. Always looking for that special buy. She loved to look at all things in nature; keeping tabs on the neighborhood wildlife and admiring flower blooms. She was also a collector of Fenton Hens on a Nest and all things owls.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dexter R. Casto; a daughter Patricia Joanne Casto, brother Erman Lupardus and sister Erma Lupardus; son-in-law Todd Davidson.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jeannie Casto of Gandeeville, WV., Tracy and Cynthia Casto of Doylestown, Wayne Casto of Canton; one daughter Debra Davidson of East Sparta; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2026 5-7 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave in Canton, Ohio. At a later date (to be announced), there will be a graveside service conducted at Siniaville Church Cemetery with Pastor Rick McClain as officiant. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Dexter and her daughter Patricia Joanne Casto.
