Otis William Westfall

Otis William Westfall, 85, of Gay passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Eldercare of Ripley following an extended illness. He was born October 26, 1933 at Gay, WV a son of the late Leonard and Corda Price Westfall. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. In his spare time he loved to garden, watch wrestling, and spend time with his family. He worked many years as a repair man for several businesses in Jackson County including Western Auto, B&K, and Sears. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pelfrey Westfall; Daughters Mary Rhodes (Jesse) and Linda Rexroad; Stepson Leslie Young; Grandchildren Jason Rhodes (Cathleen), Sarah Board (Brian), Joseph Rexroad II, Nicole Stewart, and Lyndsey Young; Great Grandchildren Brooklyn Board, Breelyn Board, Lexxi Rhodes, Jenson Rhodes, Mackenzie Rexroad, Jasmine Rexroad, Isabella Rexroad, Colton Rexroad, Chasity Stewart, and Tyler Stewart. He is also survived by his niece, Evadean Casto In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mertie Westfall, and second wife, Mary Westfall. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Fields. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 5th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Lymon Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with Military Rites provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard will be in the White Pine Cemetery, Kenna.
