Ottmer Bruce Mitchell

Ottmer Bruce Mitchell, born on August 19, 1944, died February 2, 2018. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a former firefighter at Silverton Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rebecca Mitchell; his children Ottmer B. Mitchell III and Barbara Mitchell; Grandson Ottmer B. Mitchell IV; Sister Mary Phelps and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special family friends, Emma Dominguez and Shaumber Zirkle. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 6th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial with Military Rites performed by the Jackson County Honor Guard will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
