Pamelia Sue “Pam” Kerns Walker, 67 of Ripley, passed away November 13, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House following a long illness. She was born July 25, 1949 at Madison, daughter of Arthur Kerns of Ripley and the late Iola Ryan Kerns. Pam was a member of the Fairplain Union Church. In addition to her father Arthur (Violet) Kerns she is survived by her daughter, Paula Prunty and friend Debbie Barnette; grandson Collin (Carrie Plummer) Walker; Adoptive granddaughter Brittiny (Charles) Cooper ; brothers Don (Ruby) Kerns, Ron Bonnie) Kerns and Jerry (Josie) Kerns; sister Bev Hartley; great grandchildren Keifer Davis, Christian Pernell and August Walker; dear friend Marge Pepper and her loyal fur baby, Precious. She is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother Iola Kerns she was preceded in death by her husband and Love of her life Orville Billy Walker; a son, Arthur Pernell A time of visitation with the family will be held from 1 to 3 pm Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley A celebration of Pam’s Life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Todd King officiating. Inurnment along with the cremains of her son Arthur will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley, following the service. Following the graveside Rites a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Parsons-Vail Family Center located inside the Waybright Funeral Home. Memorial donations in memory of Pam may be made to the Kanawha Hospice, 1606 Kanawha Boulevard W., Charleston, WV 25387.
