Pamela Ann Eberth

Pamela Ann Eberth, 73 of Ripley, WV passed away at home on June 26, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on March 26, 1952 in Bennington, VT; a daughter to the late Alfred and Gilberte (Lavinge) Hodgdon.

She worked at Warren Wire (General Cable) in Pownal, VT then got married and became a restaurant owner of Jerry’s Subs. She then moved back to Midlothian, VA in 1977, became a homemaker with 2 sons and did some childcare before going back into the workforce; and was employed by Media General in Richmond, VA for several years before retiring for a short time and going back to work for Walgreens for several years. In 2016 she moved to Ripley, WV where she worked at Dollar General for several years and left in March of 2025 due to illness. Her fellow coworkers and customers had become her friends. She enjoyed fishing, racing, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert J. Eberth Sr.; 2 sons, Robert J. Eberth Jr. of Midlothian, VA and his wife Kelly and Jason P. Eberth of Ripley, WV and his wife Jessica; her faithful and true friend-her dog Molly; her sisters Melissa Darling and husband Andrew of Port Clinton, OH, Linda Pelczynski and Husband Frank of Adams, MA; her brothers Maynard (Kenny) Hodgdon and his wife Anita of Williamstown, MA, Louis Hodgdon (deceased) and his wife Rosemarie of Westfield , MA, and Merritt (Butch) Hodgdon (deceased) and his wife Joannae of Mebane, NC; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
