Pamela Sue Mcbrayer

Pamela Sue McBrayer, 70, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 26, 1952 in South Charleston, the only child of Elnora Pauley Salisbury and the late Paul D. Salisbury. Pam was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also an animal lover and volunteered with adult literacy programs throughout Jackson County. Pam attended church at the Ripley Baptist Temple.

Pam is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles “Chuck” McBrayer; daughters Amy Fitzsimmons (Vance) and Jessica Earls; grandchildren Karly Cunningham (Brandon), Luke Fitzsimmons and Isaac Comer and great-grandchildren Elijah, Eden and Marleigh Cunningham.

A funeral service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 6th at the Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene, 102 Nazarene Dr., South Charleston with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
