Pansy Lou Yates Paxton

Pansy Lou Paxton Pansy Lou (Yates) Paxton, 74, of Letart, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington following a sudden illness. She was born June 2, 1938 in Vago, WV, daughter of the late Lonnie and Thelma Cooper Yates. She was a graduate of East Bank High School, longtime Letart resident and lifelong homemaker. Surviving: Her husband of 52 years, Charles W. Paxton of Letart; Son, Scott A. Paxton (Beth), of Inwood, WV; Grandchildren, Sarah J. Paxton, William E. Paxton and Mary K. E. Pennington; Sisters, Wanda Krall of Spring Glen, PA and Mary Winbery of Chesapeake, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Clarence Yates and Hugh Yates. A celebration of Mrs. Paxton's life will be Thursday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Mike Paxton officiating. Entombment will follow at Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville.
