Patricia Belle Shiflet

Patricia Belle Shiflet, 77, of Ripley passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at her home.

Pat was born April 26, 1946 at Glenville, WV a daughter of the late Walter P. and May (Floyd) Shiflet. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Orlis Shiflet and sisters Kay Kennedy and Peggy Minigh.

Pat was a 1964 graduate of Ripley High School. She was a school cook and retired from the Jackson County Board of Education with 32 years of service. She was a very good cook and candy maker with her signature treat being her peanut butter balls. She attended church at the Ripley Baptist Temple where she had been a member since November 1968.

Pat is survived by sisters Mary Jo Moyers and Maxine Rastle as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 20th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
