Patricia Ann Templin Patricia Ann Templin, 85, of Millwood, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2012 following a long journey with Alzheimer's. She was born January 27, 1927 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late Harry L. and Pearle (Ressegger) Green. She graduated from East Fairmont High School and attended Fairmont State College. Patricia had a love for water which led her to work at the YWCA as a swimming instructor and later as a physical education teacher at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland where she was affectionately called "Mrs. T". She also coached the women's basketball team from 1968 to 1974. As if she didn't have enough to do, during the summer breaks, Patricia served as the program director for Camp Klein in Painesville, Ohio. While living in Lakewood, Ohio, she was an active member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and served as president of the United Methodist Women's Society for a number of years. Nobody could put on a UMW dinner like Pat Templin could! She was a faithful member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley, West Virginia. In the past, she volunteered at the Jackson County Animal Shelter and the Ripley Lion's Club. Left to cherish her memory: Sons, James II (Debbie) of Given, West Virginia, Steve (Marsha) of Rockbridge, Ohio; Daughters, Cindy (Victor) Melaragno of Lakewood, Ohio and Suzanne Templin of Clendenin, West Virginia; Grandchildren Jamisa Bennett, Judd Templin, James Templin III, Clayton Templin, Kayla Melaragno, Brock Templin, Emma Melaragno, Parker Templin and Kiersten Templin; Great-grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Lynn Templin. She is also survived by her brother Harry L. (Jonnie) Green of Bridgeport, West Virginia and sister Frances Woodruff of Rancho Palos Verdes, California and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Templin and sister, Mary Lou Fortney. Patricia was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and faithful friend to many. She will be remembered for her generosity and compassion for those in need and also for the courage and resilience she displayed throughout her life. A funeral service for Pat is set for Sunday, September 30 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Waybright Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley. The Rev. Charles Hicks of the Ripley Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate and friends may call at the funeral home two hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral at the Jackson Memory Gardens in Cottageville. Waybright Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Templin family.
