Patricia Ann Wilson

Patricia Ann Wilson, 77, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away on December 7th, 2018, at Camden Clark Medical Center, surrounded by those who loved her. Born on November 1, 1941, Patty was the daughter of the late Hobert and Audra Belle Raines, and was one of ten children. Patty is survived by three children, Kimberly Farrah (Tom), Jay Brock, and Greg Brock (Sharon), two stepdaughters, Judith Eberhart (Dennis), and Debbie Wilson, four grandchildren, Haley Meredith (Craig), Dr. Thomas Farrah, Kaitlin Farrah, and Christopher Brock (Allyson), two great granddaughters, Bryn and Cameran Meredith, and she was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great grandson. She is also survived by sisters Carrie Dado (Joe), Dorothy Hodges (Jim), and Karen Rhodes (Jerry), brothers David Raines (Louise), and Dannie Raines (Linda), and sister-in-law JoAnn Raines, in addition to a number of loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by husband Harvey Wilson, and siblings Jackie Raines, Glenis and Cecil Boyce, Gene Raines, and Paul Raines. Patty dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Her life’s greatest achievement was her family, and the unconditional love she showed will continue to resonate through the family members she leaves behind. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, WV with Pastor Steve Raines officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
