Patrick Lewis

Patrick Zachariah Lewis, 49, of Ripley passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born June 11, 1975 at Parkersburg, WV a son of Jeffrey Lewis (Alena) and the late Mary Southerly Lewis. Growing up Patrick was fearless, loved to break dance, race motocross and was a momma’s boy. He got his beautiful brown eyes from his mom who preceded him in death on September 12, 2013. Growing up he had aspirations to be an arechologist, but ended up working for the postal service, selling cars and was a pipefitter. He loved fishing, hunting, riding side by sides, four-wheelers and taking trips to one of his favorite places, Panama City Beach, Florida. He was compassionate, caring and a big jokester. He was an amazing father and loved his three daughters with his whole heart. He was a proud grandfather to his two grandchildren, Bowyn (4) and Adeline (7 months) who were his pride and joy.

His memory will live on by all who loved him and pieces of him will live on, as Patrick gave the gift of life through organ donation. He would be so unbelievably proud to know that his death will have meaning and help others.

Patrick is survived by his daughters Alexis Hayes (Matt), Hayley Dunlap (Draven) and Faith Lewis; sister Patti Housley (Chuck); niece Karina Housley (Corey Balser); great-nephew Niko Balser and his grandchildren Bowyn and Adeline. He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
