Paul Ray Barney

Paul Ray Barney, 68 of Fairplain, WV passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Arbors, Marietta, OH. He was born April 14, 1947 in Kanawha County a son of the late Harry and Emma Gail Barney. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sisters Patsy Sharp, Josephine Dorsey, Christine Davis, Beverly Anderson and brothers John Barney and Bill Barney, and niece Joyce Sharp. Paul worked at Go-Mart in Fairplain for 15 years. He enjoyed participating in the Kenna Volunteer Fire Department. He really enjoyed lawn care, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his niece Lea Ann (Michael) Puckett of Fairplain, nephew Donnie (Connie) Sharp of Ripley, and great nephew Luke (Charliene) Sharp of Ripley. He is also survived by his loyal dog Toby. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.
