Phyllis Ann Kelley, 88 of Ripley, passed away September 3, 2022 at Hubbard House West, South Charleston, following a long illness.
She was born October 22, 1933 in Richwood, WV, daughter of the late Harley Dayton and Gladys Mural O’Dell McClung. She was a homemaker and a devoted Christian that loved to serve her Lord and Savior where she was a Minister with the Church of God. She enjoyed reading and working jigsaw puzzles. Along with her late husband, they owned and operated the Ripley Florist and Landscaping for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Gary W.(Kylee) Kelley, Daniel Bruce (Rufina) Kelley, and James Randal (Shelby) Kelley; daughters Shawna L. (David) Duguay, Teresa C. (Larry Dean)McComas and surrogate daughter Shella (Steve) Hogg; grandchildren James Paul (Vernella) Kelley, Tara Beth (Steven) Crooks, Stacy Sue Kelley, Jamie Ann Kelley, Olen Parker Kelley, John David Duguay, Stephanie Lea (Ethan) Batton, Lacey Caroline (Ivan) Funcic, Hannah Noel (Nick) Bonnett and Jesse Evan McComas; great grandchildren Evelyn Crooks, Samuel Crooks, Evan Kelley, Vahnyah Kelley, Vivynah Kelley, Henley Batton and Delta Batton; brothers Charles McClung, Harley David McClung and Lowell Ray McClung and sisters Elaine Hickman, Rose Kelley and Sharon Stowers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Olen Kelley
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with her nephew Lowell McClung officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the funeral home.
