Phyllis Jean Lupardus

Phyllis Lupardus Phyllis Jean Lupardus, 73, of Ripley, passed away Wednesday evening at Ohio Southern Medical Center in Portsmouth following a sudden illness. She was born July 27, 1939 in Belgrove, daughter of the late Charles and Lillie Westfall Crihfield. She was a lifelong homemaker and a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, Ravenswood. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Monroe Lupardus in 2007, children Terry Lynn, Brenda Jean and James Monroe Lupardus, sister Rachael Mae Crihfield and brother Daniel Loren Crihfield. Surviving: Sons, Peter Anthony Lupardus of Fairplain and Roger Lupardus of Ravenswood; Daughters, Linda Withrow (Eddie) of Ripley and Lisa Keffer (Mathew) of Athens, Ohio; Brother, Amos Crihfield of Kenna and Phoebe Fields of Belgrove; Eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 8 at 1 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Interment will follow the service at the Aplin Cemetery, Gay. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday two hours prior to the service.
