Ralph A. Kay

Ralph A. Kay 73 of Ripley passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Jackson General Hospital following a long illness. He was born November 3, 1939 in Ripley a son of the late Clifford and Marie Berg Kay. He retired from the City of Ripley with 31 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Reva Tolley Kay; son Allen Dean Kay and his wife Rachel of Sandyville; daughters Carolyn Campbell and her husband Neil of Ripley and Sandra Pursley and her husband Steve of Ripley; brothers Richard, Walter, Ronald and Delbert all of Ripley and Don Ray of Hedgesville, WV; sisters Fonda Watts and Louise Rhodes of Ripley; nine grandchildren and one step grandchild and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, infant Raymond Kay and Eugene Berg, infant great granddaughter Anna Marie Kay and one sister Beverly Bauch. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jeff Keffer officiating. Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.
