Ralph R. Taylor

Ralph R. Taylor, 95 of Kernersville, NC, formerly of Ripley passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at his home.

Ralph was born June 10, 1927 in Beards Fork, WV, he was the son of Ralph W. and Edith Dial Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his wife Betty L. Taylor, his son Stephen R. Taylor, his granddaughter Tiffany Taylor, his sisters Kathryn Brown, Helen Lily, Margaret Taylor, Brenda Kincaid, Diana Reese, and his brother Norman Taylor.

Ralph was a graduate of Kentucky Christian University and was a Church of Christ minister for over 50 years.

He is survived by his sons Ralph L. Taylor (Barbara) of Millwood, WV, Larry Taylor (Mary) of Kernersville, NC, , and daughter-in-law Wooten Taylor of Kernersville, NC, his sister Delores Jean Riley of Ripley WV, and brother Stanley E. Taylor of Rainelle, WV. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Ralph L. Taylor II (Jenny) of Millwood, WV, Lyncy Seuberling (Nathan) of Kernersville, NC, Andrea Lohmeyer (Jeff) of Winston-Salem, NC, Sarah Taylor of Kernersville, NC, Stephen R. Taylor (Nikki) of Cortland, NY, Jeremy Taylor of Ripley, WV, and Jordan Pierce (Ashley) of Dunwoody, GA. He also had seventeen great-grand-children: Alyssa Judge, Emma, Phoenix and Hudson Seuberling, Lola Tuttle, Nixon and Rowen Lohmeyer, Kelly, Hunter and MacKenzie Taylor, Brandon, Ryan and Kyle Taylor, Kaelyn and Lexi Taylor, Jane and Henry Pierce.

A private family viewing will be held at 11:00am on Monday March 20, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 pm in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Cottageville, WV.
