Randy Munday, 69, went to his heavenly home on September 6, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Randy was born May 23, 1955 in Ripley a son of the late Everett and Mildred (Winters) Munday.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Pamela (White) Munday; two daughters Brittany Munday of Ripley and Brandi (Vlad) Moore of Given; two sisters Carolyn Munday of Ripley and Connie (David) Moore of Ripley; one brother Earnest Freddie (Cleta) Munday of Gay; two grandchildren Marlee and Mason Moore of Given and sister-in-law Julia (Nemo) Boggess of Goldtown.
In addition to his parents Randy was preceded in death by a sister, Janet (Ray) Fields and Geneva (Joe) Coon.
Randy was a Christian by faith. He loved to go camping, hunting and watching football and NASCAR. He loved to be outdoors and was fondly known as the “Gas Man.” Randy was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved to play a joke on anyone around him and always made those around him laugh. He absolutely loved his grandbabies more than anything.
We would like to thank Hospice nurses Lori Casto and Sam Sowards, as well as CNA’s Diane, Rhyanna and Tamara and Hospice Social Worker, Sarah. You all made his day with every visit.
Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 10th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grasslick Cemetery, Kenna.
