Ravena Josephine Rhodes

Ravena Josephine (Anderson) Rhodes, 93, of Ripley passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born October 24, 1931 at Plum Orchard, WV a daughter of the late Otmer Camdon and Polly (Chancey) Anderson. She enjoyed flowers, cooking and spending time with her family.

Ravena is survived by her children Steve (Judith) Rhodes, Larry Camden (Lisa) Rhodes, Carolyn Faye (Ernie) Powell, Chuck (Terri) Rhodes, Kathy (Tom) Board, Ricky (Crisy) Rhodes, Timmy (Patty) Rhodes, Angela Rhodes and Gregory Mark Rhodes; sister Naomi Williams. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Ravena was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie Rhodes; brother Norman Anderson and sisters Mary Lou Rinehart and Phyllis Jean Harris.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 30th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
