Raymond Perry

Raymond Perry, 70, of Ripley passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at his home.

Ray was born May 11, 1953 in Logan County a son of the late Walter and Polly Ann Perry. In addition to his parents Ray was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Perry Jr.; brother Ronnie Perry; sister Vickie Perry and sister-in-law Sandy Perry as well as several aunts and uncles.

Ray proudly served is country in the United States Air Force. He also loved going to church and studying the Bible. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and prospecting and panning for gold.

Ray leaves behind his wife, Helen (Harris) Perry; daughter Tabatha Thomas; stepson Chris Tolley; brother Mike Perry and a sister Brenda Dixon (Johnny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Aaron Melhorn officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery. Prior to leaving for the cemetery Military Rites will be rendered by the Jackson County Honor Guard.
