Raymond Loyde Ramsey

Raymond Loyde Ramsey, 82 of Ripley, passed away April 17, 2017 at Jackson General Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born July 24, 1934 at Ripley, a son of the late Dewey and Ona McDonough Ramsey. He retired as a custodian at Ripley High School with 36 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anna Myers Ramsey; sons Loyde (Belinda) Ramsey and Donald (Don) Ramsey; daughters Mary (Chuck) Young and Thelma (Mike) Stickler; grandchildren Joshua, Shiela and Andrea and two great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan-Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
