Regina Mae (Dillon) Braden, 67 of Sandyville, passed away December 6, 2023 in Marietta Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Regina was born July 25, 1956 in Parkersburg daughter of the late Howard Edwin and Ireta Regina Bonnett Dillon. She worked from 1981 until 2021 as manager at McDonalds. Regina loved riding motorcycles with Greg and Teresa Mills, Jim and Anna Batten, Gene and Cathy Barnette, Brett and Shawna Batten and Chris Batten, a gang that was known as “The Turtles.” She enjoyed traveling and she never knew a stranger and loved to talk with anyone. One of her greatest joys was watching her grandchildren play. Regina was a Christian and was a member of the Drift Run Church.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jody Braden; her children Josh (Amanda) Hupp, Jeremy Hupp, Justin (Vanessa) Hupp, Jacole (fiancée Allen Clay) Braden and Joel (Laura) Braden; grandchildren, Andrew (Dani) Hupp, Rylan Hupp, Kalem, Kolten and Kyler Hupp, Bentley Burner and Remington Nay; great grandchildren, Beau Hupp and Cameryn Elaine Hupp; siblings Larry Dean Dillon, Gary Lee Dillon (Libby), Randall Dillon, Denise Kanige (Kevin), Sharon DeLong and Sue Dean (Scott); mother in law Dolly Braden; sisters in law Rosanna Twohig and Crystal Wyatt. Also survived by a slew of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Ray Hupp and sister in law Sherri Dillon
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Dave Long officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
