Regina Bess Parsons

Regina L. Bess Parsons, 56 of Fairmont, passed away December 1, 2024 at Mon-Marion Neighborhood Hospital in Fairmont, WV.

She was born April 7, 1968 in Charleston, WV, daughter of the late James Allen and Benedine Cyrus Bess. She was a homemaker and worked in the fast food industry having last worked at Firehouse Subs in Fairmont. She enjoyed the outdoors especially camping, shopping at Thrift Stores, going to concerts and listening to music, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughter Amber Wiggins and her husband Josh; sister, Sandy Shaffer and her husband Scott; her grandchildren, Gunner and Gatlin Wiggins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Dereck Parsons; and sisters, Cindy Dobson and Mary Bowers.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Bill Holley officiating. Friends may call on the family from 11:-00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
