Reta Casto Roop

Reta Casto Roop, 66, of Akron, OH passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Summit Villa Care Center, Tallmadge, OH following a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 1, 1949 in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Edgar Seymour and Corda Kay Casto. Survivors include son, Thomas Duncan of Akron, OH; daughters Donna Frank (Bob) of Akron, OH and Maria Rearick (Daniel) of Camp Hill, PA; Brothers Roger Hatcher of Fairplain, Rick Hatcher of Fairplain, and Jerry Hatcher of Akron, OH; Grandchildren Troy Labbe, Kristen Labbe, Seth Rearick, and Ava Rearick; and Aunt Marie Casto. She is also survived by special friend and Cousin Thelma Coon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Step-Father Okey Hatcher, who was like a father to her. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Casto Cemetery, Ripley.
