Reva Mae Ferrell

Reva Mae Ferrell, 83, of Ripley, passed away May 22, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, OH, following a long illness. She was born July 26, 1931 at Beech Hill, Mason County, WV, a daughter of the late Perry and Ethel Wright Hickman. She was a 1950 Graduate of Ripley High School and began working when she was 16 years old and had many jobs over the years including Model Grocery and work in the Sewing Factories including Ripley Apparel. She was the first female Union Representative with the sewing factories. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Bargeloh and her husband Bruce of Parkersburg; her granddaughter Kelly Beth Bargeloh; sister Marie Casto of Ripley; caregiver Joan Snyder and special friend Bob Walters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Richard H. Ferrell in 1999 and brothers Perry Hickman Jr., Richard "Pete" Hickman and Johnny Hickman. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
