Richard Allen Blackshire

Richard Allen Blackshire, 43 of Ripley went to be with his grandparents and take care of his horses in heaven on January 19, 2015. He was born May 1, 1971 in Jackson County a son of Dennis Blackshire and Rhea Barker. He was a Truck Driver and enjoyed being with his family and caring for horses. He is survived by his wife Robin Ensminger Blackshire; daughters Hayley Blackshire and Brittany Blackshire; father and step mother Dennis and Pam Blackshire; mother Rhea Barker; step brothers Jason Russell., Joey Russell and Dustin Blackshire. His request for cremation is being honored. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. From 6:00 to 7:00 pm the family will host a reception in the Parsons-Vail Family Center located in the funeral home. At 7:00 pm a memorial Service will be held in the Waybright Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Joe Keefer. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Richard's memory to the American Heart Association, 162 Court Street, Charleston, WV 25301.
