Richard Don Hite

Richard Don Hite, 58, of St. Albans passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 following a short illness. He was born October 15, 1959 at Ripley, WV a son of the late Thomas Edward and Josephine Ellen Gandee Hite. Rick is survived by two sons, Seth and his wife Samantha of Sissonville and Tyler of Clarksburg; Their mother Sarah Hite of Clendenin; Two grandchildren. Breecie Legg and Easton Hite of Sissonville; Sister Nancy (John) Payne of Long Bottom, OH and companion Ted Flowers of Buffalo. Rick worked as a respiratory therapist at CAMC Teays Valley; he also worked as florist at Rite-Aid. He enjoyed horses as well as going yard saling, wedding decor coordinating for friends, and volunteering his time at Christ Kitchen. He loved to watch his grandchildren play soccer & basketball & rarely missed a game. He loved being a Grandpa. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.
