Robert “Bob” Leon Parsons, 71, of Fairplain passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. He was born February 16, 1949 at Charleston a son of Virginia Francis Hill Parsons and the late Clovis “Chubby” Parsons. Bob retired from Pechiney Rolled Products in Ravenswood with many years of service. He was easy going and loved relaxing, usually watching the news, cooking shows or old westerns. He was also a member of Grace Community Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Jackson Parsons; sons Tim Parsons (Cindy) and Rick Parsons; mother Francis Parsons; grandchildren Kayla Wyatt (Andrew), Jacob Parsons (Michele), Tiara Lewis (Brandon), Regan Parsons, Destin Parsons and Jazmin Parsons. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Elijah Parsons, Atarah Lewis, Wylder Wyatt, Ryker Parsons and Charley Lewis. A graveside service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 4th at Fairplain Cemetery with his son Pastor Tim Parsons and grandson, Jacob Parsons officiating.
