Robert “Bob” Bostic, 85, of Kenna passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center following an extended illness.
Bob was born October 23, 1939 in Kanawha County, a son of the late George and Teny (Shively) Bostic. Bob was a hard worker who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He began work as a laborer at 17 and was later trained as a brick mason, which he made a career doing. He started Bostic Masonry in 1970 alongside his brother and later on with his sons. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as country music. He will be remembered for being a good husband and father.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lillie (Burdette) Bostic; son Bobby Bostic; daughter Beverly Scheffler; sister Georgia; grandchildren Stacy, T.C. Catelyn, David, Olivia, Robbie, Ryne, Browen and Breanna. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Chris and siblings Corbett, Herbert, Letha and May.
