Robert Samuel Crihfield

Robert Samuel Crihfield, 84 of Ripley passed away October 15, 2020 at Eldercare of WV in Ripley following a long illness. He was born June 30, 1936 in Roane County, WV, a son of the late Thomas Robert and Velma Mae Smith Crihfield. He was a farmer and enjoyed everything about farming. He is survived by his children, James Crihfield, Dolores Gibson and Linda Castle; sisters Roberta Cottrell and Lorheda Mitchell Osborn; brothers Wayne, Bernard, Ronald and Larry Crihfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Crihfield, a daughter Barbara Ann Crihfield; sisters Virginia Taylor, Mary Crihfield, Elizabeth Robinson, Mildred Kerns and Cora Mullinex. Funeral service will be 6:00 pm Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call from 5:00 pm until the time of service on Monday.
