Robert "Red" Morgan Jr.

Robert Lee “Red” Morgan, Jr., passed away May 11, 2024 at home following a short illness.

He was born October 3, 1959 in Kingwood, WV, son of the late Robert Morgan Sr. and Pauline Dare Braniff Syruws. He was a oil field worker but most of all he was a devoted father and grandfather who loved to spoil his granddaughter. He enjoyed restoring cars, especially Mopar’s and NASCAR racing. He also enjoyed football and cheering for the Mountaineers and Steelers.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessie Morgan and son-in-law Jeremy Lane; granddaughter Fallynn Morgan; sister Ramona Lynn “Mony” Morgan; step-father Sam Syruws and niece, Tori and Mike McGrew.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Drift Run Cemetery, Sandyville at a later date.
