Robert Gregory Shamblin

Robert Gregory Shamblin, 51, of Kenna, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2013 at CAMC General in Charleston following an extended illness. He was born May 18, 1962 in Charleston, son of the late Olaf and Jewell Hamon Shamblin. Surviving: Brothers, Jack Shamblin of Kenna, Harold "Shorty" Shamblin of Romance, Kenvil Shamblin of Romance and Luther "Cricket" Shamblin of Sissonville; Sisters, Carolyn Ray of Romance and Virginia "Jenny" Dillard of Liberty and a host of nieces, nephews and uncles. In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by brothers Leroy Shamblin and Gary Shamblin and sister Shirley Coleman. A celebration of the life of Robert Shamblin will be Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Interment will follow the service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
