Robert Tolley

Robert Leon Tolley 83 of Elizabeth, WV, formerly of Canton, Ohio and Gay, WV went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 5, 1931 at Gay, WV a son of the late Auvil Clinton and Radie Marie Ice Tolley. He retired from Republic Steel with 35 years of service and was a very skilled Cabinet Maker. He was a Christian and attended the Morristown Community Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Larry Eugene Tolley. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Erlene Carpenter Tolley; his children Roberta (Timothy) Yoho of Massillon, OH, Robert (Rachel) Tolley of Bolivar, OH and Diane (Dennis) Hart of Sandyville, WV; brothers Jimmy Tolley of Elyria, OH, Ramah Tolley of Charleston and Jack Tolley of Gay; grandchildren Corissa (Pete) Gyle, Daniel Yoho, Kevin (Cathy) Shankle, Laura Ice, Andrea (Joe) Wigal, Erin Tolley, Leah Tolley, Derrick Tolley, Jake Tolley, Jason Stemplewski and John Stemplewski; great grandchildren Samantha Rohrer, Alyana Geyer, Andrew Geyer, Toby Fry, Ethan Fry, Liam Betty, Garrison Wigal, Christopher Shankle and Lucas Tolley Funeral service will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Bobby Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Tolley Cemetery, Gay. Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service.
