Robert Withrow

Robert "Bob" Withrow, 81 of Ripley, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House following a short illness. He was born October 21, 1934 in Kanawha County, a son of the late Ami and Thelma Wheaton Withrow. He retired from the Borden Corporation; however most of his 35 years of employment was as a Milkman for Valley Bell Dairy where he was the Governors Milkman for over 20 years. He enjoyed meeting his friends at McDonalds and visiting at Walmart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Board Parsons Withrow; his siblings, Jackie Ray Withrow, Janet Daugherty, Phyllis Withrow and Jerry Withrow. He is survived by his children; Carolyn (Garry) Blocker of Northampton, PA, Becki Woods of Charleston, Terry Woolwine of Charleston, Rob (Lori) Withrow of Sissonville and Cindy (Bobby) Kaib of Elkview; brothers Carroll Withrow of Spencer and Willis Withrow of Belle. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Rick Gardner and Garry Blocker officiating. Friends may call on the family on Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be 11:00 am, Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Glasgow.
