Roberta Jean Starcher

April 25, 1940 — January 20, 2018

Roberta Jean Starcher, 77, of Sandyville passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House West following an extended illness. She was born April 25, 1940 at Spencer a daughter of the late Dexter Clair and Icy Monroe Scyoc. Roberta was a homemaker who had a love for her family as well as feeding the birds, and cross-stitch. She is survived by her husband of 58 ½ years, Charles Starcher; Son Dexter Starcher (Sandy) of Madison; Step-granddaughter Kassie Ball. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by infant son William Starcher, Brother John Scyoc, and Sister Jackie McCrady. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 24th at the Gibson Cemetery, Calhoun County with Pastor David Fields officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. For those wishing to go to the cemetery a procession will be meeting at the West Fork Community Park at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
