Robin J. Cordell

Robin Jackson Cordell, 62, of Ripley passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Hubbard House Hospice Care.

Robin was born June 3, 1962 in Charleston, WV; a daughter of the late Gurnsey and Virginia (King) Jackson.

In addition to her parents Robin was preceded in death by brother Greg Jackson; sister Debbie Jackson Combs; sister-in-law Kella Jackson; and brother-in-law Hershel Fisher

Robin is survived by her husband of 23 years, Terry Cordell; sisters Carol Fisher and Kathy Stepp(Mike); brothers Dennis Jackson, Tony Jackson(Jo), and Larry Fields(Judy); daughters Jessica Randolph(Jerry) and Heather Thaxton(Ben); sons Jonathan Taylor and Douglas Jackson(Betty); grandchildren Christian Randolph(Lindsay), Allyson Randolph, Gage Randolph, Peyton Randolph, Jonathan Taylor II, Jacob Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Corey Thaxton(Stormy), Cody Thaxton, Caydance Thaxton, Jase Thaxton, and Gavin Thaxton; and great-grandchildren Madalyn Randolph, Kayden Randolph, and Andrew Randolph.

Robin retired from the social security office and will be remembered for her love of music, cats, and being a collector many things; a few of which included teddy bears and baby dolls. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hubbard House Hospice for the wonderful care that Robin received.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 30th at Waybright Funeral Home Ripley. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
