Robin Lynn Hughart

Robin Lynn Hughart, 59, of Ripley passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at her home following an extended illness. She was born March 18, 1957 in Franklin County, Ohio a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Shepherd Bowen. Robin graduated from Herbert Hoover High School with the class of 1976. She was a member of the United Gospel Mission and sang in several gospel groups including The Seekers and The Shepherds II. She is survived by her husband, William E. Hughart of Ripley; Daughter Alisha Skinner (Brad) of Fairplain; brothers Thomas Bowen (Raeanne) of Florida and Tim Bowen (Tammy) of Elkview; Sister in Law Diana Winnell of Dunbar; grandchildren Riley Knotts and Karsyn Skinner. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Marvin Welch officiating. Friends may call on the family Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
