Robyn Hayes Gandee 41 of Given, WV passed away suddenly on August 14, 2014. She was the loving wife of David Gandee and a devoted mother to Reese and Ranse Gandee. Robyn's proudest achievement was her two children. She was a successful business owner of 16 years at Head to Toe Beauty Salon. Robyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Howard C. and Myrtle Fisher and paternal grandfather Willie Richard Hayes. She is survived by her husband of 23 years David Gandee, her 18 year old daughter Reese Gandee and her 14 year old son Ranse Gandee; paternal grandmother Betty L. Hayes of Ripley,; her father Richard L Hayes of Given; her mother Connie L. Hayes of Given; three sisters Rhonda Casto (Husband John) of Ripley, Stefanie Hayes of Given and Stacie Hayes ( Donnie Catalano) of Ripley; nieces and nephews Joshua Casto, Jaimie Casto Clendenin, Jordan Casto, Hayden Balser, Jackie Gandee, Casey Rhodes and Bristol Smith. Robyn was a Christian and attended the Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley. She never met a stranger, always had a smile on her face and never hesitated to give advice...whether you needed it or not, and had a passion for cooking. A celebration of the life of Robyn Gandee will be at 1:12 pm Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Given Cemetery, Given, WV. Friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday, August 17, 2014 and from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
