Rondus "Ted" Anderson

Rondus Leon “Ted” Anderson, 73 of Kenna passed away February 23, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born October 19, 1947 at Belgrove a son of the late Johnnie and Dorean Fields Anderson. He was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He worked at Mountain State Steel, enjoyed farming and was an animal lover. He was a hard working husband and father but his greatest pride and joy was his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Gandee Anderson; sons Rondus Leon (Melissa) Anderson Jr, Chad (Bethany) Anderson, Jeremy (Carrie)Anderson and Chris Anderson; daughter Carrie (Earl) Anderson; brothers, Lymon Anderson and Rondal Anderson; grandchildren Shayla, Shelby, Carly, Ashley, Dalton, Dylan, Johnnie, Willow and Harley. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial with military Rites provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard will be in the Anderson Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 11 AM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
