Rosemary Jane Wheeler

Rosemary Jane Wheeler, 87, of Ripley passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at CAMC General Hospital following an extended illness. She was born April 29, 1932 in Kanawha County, a daughter of the late George and Christina Martin Hall. Jane was homemaker who had a love of quilting and made many quilts for her family as well as for countless newborns at CAMC Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She is survived by her children Marty Holley, Tim Holley (Debbie), Collette Dean Turner (John) and Doug Holley (Rita). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Millard N. Holley, second husband Walter Wheeler, as well as 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jeff Keffer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Fairplain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jane’s memory to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
