Rosetta Proctor

Rosetta M Weikle Proctor, 83, of Monroe, NC formerly of Kenna, WV passed away Friday, May 8, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1937 to the late Robert David and Laurena Caldwell Weikle of Sarton, WV. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Arley Proctor; sons David Proctor and wife Louise of Kenna, Timothy Proctor and wife Laura of NC and Gary Proctor and wife Bonnie of NC; sisters Amy Jenkins of Lewisburg, Aruda Johnson and husband Wayne of Kanawha City, Irene Romanello and husband John of Clifton Forge, VA and Lorene Shaw of Peterstown, WV and brother Pearlie Weikle of Oklahoma City, OK; grandkids David Paul Proctor Jr. of Fairmont, Brandi Proctor of Fairmont. and Leslie Proctor of Charleston; stepgrandson Tim Johnson of NC. She is also survived by 5 great-grandkids, numerous nieces and nephews and friends of Pleasant View United Methodist Church in Kenna. In addition to her parents Rosetta was preceded in death by sisters Fern Weikle Bennette and Betty Weikle Bennette; brothers Calvin Weikle, Armon Weikle, Hampton Weikle and Cleon Weikle. A cryptside service to celebrate Rosetta’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 12th at the Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rosetta’s memory to the Pleasant View United Methodist Church in Kenna.
