Roy Lee Kerns

Roy Lee Kerns, 64 of Kenna, went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born June 14, 1957 in Ripley, a son of Janice Wolfe Kerns Rhodes and the late Richard Kerns. Roy enjoyed fishing but loved serving his Lord and Savior and going to church. He was a member of the Goshen Baptist Church and also a member of the Independent Gospel Messengers of America. In addition to his mother, Janice Rhodes and step-father Johnie Rhodes, he is survived by his wife, Lessie Horn Kerns; step-daughter Mable (Steve) Whiting; brother Ronnie (Shelia) Kerns; sisters Rosetta (Jacob) Rhodes and Anette (Carl) Casto; step sister Teresa Flaming; and step-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Calvin and James. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Goshen Baptist Church, Kentuck, with Pastor Carl Casto officiating. Burial will be in the Kerns Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the Goshen Baptist Church. Waybright Funeral Home is serving the family.
