Roy H. Miller Jr.

Roy H. Miller Jr, 77, of Evans, WV passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at his home following an extended illness.

Roy was born in 1948 in Nitro, WV, a son of the late Roy H. Miller Sr. and V. Murle (Milhollan) Miller.

Roy was a Paramedic/EMT for 20 plus years in Jackson County and was one of the first to be hired in Jackson County. Following his time as a paramedic Roy worked for several years at Radio Shack in Ravenswood and spent 5 years as a greeter at Ripley Wal-Mart.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Deborah (Wright) Miller of Evans; his brother J. Paul Miller (Linda) of Hazelgreen, AL and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two furbabies, Gretta and Shade.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Miller.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, August 3rd at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 275 N. Cedar St., Newark, OH 43055.
