Ruth Ann (Bennett) Starcher, 81 of Liberty, entered into her Heavenly home on April 19, 2025.
Ruth Ann retired from Sweetbriar Assisted Living as a Certified Dietary Manager in 2018. She was a member of the Allens Fork Community Church, Sissonville, WV
She was born August 31, 1943 in Charleston, daughter of the late Roy and Beulah Bennett
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Orval “Buster” Starcher; daughters Sonya Arthur of Charleston and Brandie (Gary) Veres of St. Albans; her granddaughter and pride and joy, Ara of South Charleston; sisters, Dottie Fisher of Kenna and Deanna (Roger) Burnside of Hometown, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to her care provider Jennifer Nunley and Nurse Sheila with CAMC Primary Care in Winfield, Amedisys Home Health Care of Ripley and the staff of CAMC 3 West and Hospice Care at CAMC Memorial Hospital for the excellent care provided.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jerry Bonnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
