Sarah Marmett Winter

Sarah Marmett Winter, 89, of Given, passed away August 16, 2018 following an extended illness. She was born May 16, 1929, a daughter of the late William Artemas and Lucy Jane Casto Brannon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland Winter; brother, Otho Brannon; sisters, Dortha McCloud, and Magdalene Brannon. She is survived by daughters; Dianne (Greg) Slaughter, Shirley Parker, and Sharon Winter; grandchildren Sarah (Zack) Wine, Rhonda (Caleb) Knight, Christina Lockwood, Jason Jarvis, and Shawn Slaughter; and five great-grandchildren.
