Sharon Kay Curry

Sharon Kay Curry, 73 of Sandyville, passed away February 25, 2017 at her home following a long illness. She was born October 3, 1943 at Walgrove, WV, a daughter of the late Ivan and Alice Combs Strickland. She was a Homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Curry and brothers Tony and Ernest “Jack” Strickland. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Steve) Snyder of Racine, OH, Debra (Robert) Wells of Sandyville and Donna (Benjamin) Donahue of Ravenswood; brothers Alan Strickland of PA, Stan Strickland of Ft. Pierce, FL and Randall Strickland of Sandyville; sisters Janice Goff and Brenda Strickland both of Ripley. Also survived by her companion of 15 years, Devon Riggs and 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 7:30 pm Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Friends may call from 5 pm until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
